Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress and has gained fame in Canada for her role of Bo. Silk was born in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay and Peter Silk were both academics. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. She is Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of the first moments in her life, including taking part in rehearsals of stage plays. Silk was a part of a variety of commercials as a child. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was active in at least two of the early stage productions, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk was moved to Toronto Canada in the month of November of 1999 to continue her acting. She then relocated to Los Angeles California during the next decade. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met at an actor's' Workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. They got married the year 2009 and wed at a civil wedding ceremony in December of the same year. When she converted to Judaism the couple renewed their wedding vows at the Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born son on 13 May 2016. Silk is well-known for her role on television as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was nominated by for the Gemini Awards. In 2009 she was cast as Bo Dennis, the lead role of Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk announced to her fans that she was expecting a baby at the beginning of January 2013, during the Showcase Season Three Special. Silk, who has been involved in the production of Lost Girl since the season's third finale episode was conceived on the 6th of January, 2013, announced on Twitter her readiness to return on the 4th of June 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season. CNN recognized Bo's performance alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular television couples of all time. E! voted it the top couple on TV for 2013.
